“On the night you were born,
The moon smiled with such wonder
That the stars peeked in to see you
And the night wind whispered,
“Life will never be the same.”

~Nancy Tillman, On the Night You Were Born

It’s the night before Elsa turns 8. Her first Canadian birthday.

In California, we would be celebrating at our favorite spot, La Jolla Cove.

So tomorrow, to keep with the birthday theme, we are taking a day trip to Peggy’s Cove.

Eight is great.

  1. I love this girl for many reasons; her glasses are cool and gave always reminded me of little me, her quick wit, her inquisitiveness that comes with a wrinkled nose after checking it out or a statement, that she loves dance, that she’s the textbook middle child who is independent/sweet/helpful/easy going….but mostly because of her we met all of you! Happy birthday blessings Elsa!!!
